Ashten Prechtel Named 2019 McDonald’s All-American

Premier Nike Girls EYBL player, Ashten Prechtel, will be showcasing her talents and representing Colorado Premier, the State of Colorado and Discovery Canyon High School on a national scale in March!

Prechtel, a senior at Discovery Canyon, was named to the Girls McDonald’s All-American game roster for the West on Thursday, January 24th. Ashten is one of the first Colorado girls (along with Fran Belibi this year) to be named a McDonald’s All-American since Michaela Onyenwere was selected in 2017.

She has competed on Premier Basketball Club’s U17 Nike Girls EYBL team since her Freshman year.

Prechtel, a 6-foot-5 inch center, is currently averaging 21.9 points, 16.7 rebounds and 5.4 blocks for Discovery Canyon’s program this year and recently signed her letter of intent to attend Stanford in the Fall.

The McDonald’s All-American Game will take place on March 27th in Atlanta and will be televised for all of our Premier families to watch. We will keep everyone informed regarding the broadcast as information becomes available.
